2025 WĒTĀ DINGHY FACTORY ORDERS

What’s included -

AdrenawindSports provides the Wētā dinghy in two standard specification levels. Both options are ready to sail packages, with the primary difference being the mainsail size that you select -

8.3 metre ‘Pin Head’ mainsail – The original size mainsail which still offers plenty of thrills when the breeze is up and you want to go blasting.
9.3 metre ‘Square Top’ mainsail – Offering a bit more power in light to moderate breeze the Square Top mainsail is the preferred option for those who want the most out of the Weta.

All Wētā dinghies come with everything you need to go sailing, including a launching trolley, although wheels are not included. Why don’t we include wheels? This allows you to choose the wheels you want to put on it depending on your local requirements.

Factory Order Date:-

Wētā dinghies are manufactured to order from a standard mould at Xtreme Sailing in Batam. To manage the cost of shipping to the UK efficiently, we aim to order a minimum of four boats to ensure full container shipments. Consequently, it is essential for customers to place orders according to a shared schedule.

When we have sufficient interest, we will start the order process.

Shipping can begin promptly based on the availability of manufactured stock. Delivery to the UK can occur within 8 weeks once the minimum quantity is reached and we place the shipping request with Wētā HQ.

The Order Process:-

The order process is as follows…

Step 1 -

Use the ‘AdrenawindSports Reservation Form’ (options below) to inform us that you would like to be added on our new Weta schedule. Fill in as many details as possible to indicate chosen sail size, Gennaker Colour (first and second choice), and any other optional extras.

This does not commit you to buy a boat and no deposit is required at this stage.

Step 2 -

Once there are enough confirmed orders to fill a container, you will be contacted with the projected manufacturing and shipping dates for your boat. If you wish to proceed, an Order Confirmation and an invoice for the first stage payment will be sent to you.

Step 3 -

We will collaborate with you to tailor your boat's equipment list while it is still at the factory. This enables us to make any necessary additions before shipping, thereby avoiding additional freight charges that would arise from shipping items separately after the container is in transit.

If modifications are made to your order that alter the fit-out cost of your boat, stage payments 2 and 3 will be adjusted accordingly.

Step 4 -

We will provide regular updates concerning construction progress, including specific details about shipping arrangements as they become available. The invoice for the second stage payment will be issued upon receipt of shipment confirmation from the Builder, and it will be due within seven days of issuance.

Step 5 -

Upon arrival in the UK, the container will be unloaded at our designated location. A thorough inspection of the boats will be conducted, after which you will be contacted to arrange either collection or delivery. Please note that Stage 3 payment is required prior to collection or delivery.

Option 1 - 8.3m Mainsail £ 16382 (Ex Works, Including VAT)
Option 2 - 9.3m Mainsail £ 16520 (Ex Works, Including VAT)
Prices shown are for the basic package and optional extras will increase these prices accordingly.
