Race solo or two-up. There’s an active base of one design Wētā racing fleets around the world. Low-cost, high-fun competition whatever your age or ability and no need to spend a fortune every year to keep up. It’s also competitive in handicap fleets with yardsticks for single handed and two-up.
When sailed well the performance is similar to skiffs such as the B14 and 29er.
In the UK most Wētā are raced in mixed fleets around the country, but there is the annual 'Wētā Swarm' when everyone comes together for some great class racing and a lot of socialising. We look forward to having you join us.
